Big kids are learning to be more independent, growing up and trying new things. By the time children turn 5, they sleep in bigger beds, eat new foods and play with different toys. As a result, big kids will experience an action-packed phase of development that affects their behavior and routines, so it’s important to ensure that they stay safe.

Come check out the Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA’s Leader’s Club, a nationwide program for Teens ages 13-18 that teaches leadership skills through community service, volunteerism and personal growth. In Leaders Club, teens can meet other teens from their community, earn volunteer service hours and recommendations, and participate in regional leadership retreats.
Weekly meetings on Tuesdays. No registration necessary! Show up anytime. New Leaders are allowed to participate in two meetings before making a decision to join.

Yoga for All Unites the Community. All are welcome to this FREE yoga class being taught by Annie Chapman & Maggie Skinner, who are inspired to give back to the community and offer this class for everyone.
Set yourself free, free of charge! Our Community Yoga class includes lunch, fellowship, and Child Care (during class time) on the third Saturday of every month. No registration necessary. All levels, individuals and families are welcome.

GUITAR I (Ages 9-13)
Strum and pluck your way to stardom in a small classroom setting. Beginner players will learn the basics of holding a guitar, picking, tuning, chord progressions, and strum patterns. Students must bring their own instruments for class.

SONG WRITER WORKSHOP (Ages 8-12)
This small group setting allows student to focus on key elements of songwriting such as the formation of music, chord structures, lyrics, hooks, rhymes, riffs & melodies. Solo or collaborate on your first song, it is up to you! Instruments are recommended but not required.

BEGINNER VOICE WORKSHOP (AGES 8-12)
This small group setting allows students to explore their singing voice. Classes will be spent reviewing singing basics, performing traditional vocal warm ups, and engaging in playful group vocal games.

Participate in lessons that focus on physical fitness, skill development, and sportsmanship. The class is progressive and students will learn material based on their age and skill level. Thursdays 2:30-3:30 PM

SUP- Fit is an athletic interval water class that will incorporate paddle drills and functional movements on the boards to create an interval based workout. The focus of this class is having FUN while using core stability to improve the overall functioning of the body and build a stronger, more balanced physique. Participants are encouraged to wear exercise type clothing. Paddle boards are provided.

Join us in the community room kitchen where students will learn how to safely prepare nutritious and delicious foods. Foods include decorative
pancakes, noodle dishes, muffins and baked fruit concoctions.
