BODY COMPOSITION TESTING

This program is great for individuals looking to monitor their progress. Measure your height, weight, BMI and body fat % during your initial appointment and again six weeks later to see your progress.

Zumba

Zumba is a mixture of body-sculpting moves and easy to follow dance steps with a Latin flair.  Designed to strengthen, tone and improve balance and coordination.


SPINNING® Indoor Cycling Program

PACE (People with Arthritis Can Exercise)

When:  Monday and Thursday
Times:  11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program

The Arcadia Y together with the Arthritis Foundation and the Rhode Island Department of Health Arthritis Action Program is proud to offer the PACE Program (People With Arthritis Can Exercise). The Arthritis Foundation specifically designed PACE for people with arthritis. This fun interactive program utilizes general recreational exercises and Personal Training activities to promote joint range of motion, flexibility, muscle strength and coordination. The program is structured to accommodate varying fitness levels.  Adults with arthritis who can walk (use of assisted devices permitted), or move from a wheel chair to a straight back chair, are able to participate in these programs. Instructors are certified to teach the PACE program by the Arthritis Foundation and are CPR certified. As with any program, check with your physician before you begin.
