Monday-Friday: 8:00AM – 12:30 PM & 3:30-8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM-3:30PM Sunday: Closed
Now teens have a place to hang out, play video, bring snacks, and mingle with friends. The canteen is always staffed by a Y employee and they provide a safe, fun and clean space. Two hour maximum stay in the Canteen. Children aged 9 year to 12 years, must be signed in by parent and parent needs to stay in building. FREE with membership
*Canteen is OPEN during the day for School holidays and vacations.
Students in Grades 5-8 are welcome for an evening of music, special guests, games, food, fun and so much more! Teen Nights are open to the first 100 Teens. Register early for a guaranteed, supervised, fun night out.

YMCA Leaders Club!
Come check out the Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA’s Leader’s Club, a nationwide program for Teens ages 13-18 that teaches leadership skills through community service, volunteerism and personal growth. In Leaders Club, teens can meet other teens from their community, earn volunteer service hours and recommendations, and participate in regional leadership retreats.
Weekly meetings on Tuesdays. No registration necessary! Show up anytime. New Leaders are allowed to participate in two meetings before making a decision to join.

Women on Weights!
A small group training class that will introduce weight training techniques in the wellness center. This class will educate free-weight use, invoke confidence in training in the fitness center, and create invaluable special bonds; all while getting a great workout. Movements with barbells, dumbbells, and body-weight will all be included. 6 Participants per group.

American Red Cross Babysitting Training Course
This course, for 11-15 year olds teaches knowledge and skills necessary to safely give care for infants and children. Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross Certificate. Three 2 hour sessions start Wednesday, January 17th, Wednesday, January 24th & Wednesday, January 31st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This class is limited to 10 participants. Must attend all 3 classes to receive certificate. Must be 11 by the end of the class.

DOLPHIN PUPS PRE SWIM TEAM
This class is a stepping stone for swimmers who may be interested in Transitioning from our progressive swim lessons, to possibly joining our Dolphins Swim Team. This class will include introduction to Butterfly and completion of the Breaststroke. Swimmers will practice more advanced racing techniques, underwater streamline, starts, and proper flip turns for each stroke. Not only will this class serve as a place to learn and build confidence, but swimmers and parents will get a glimpse of what it is like to be on swim team.

The Tumbling class is for the athlete that is ready to learn or improve their tumbling. Ideal for competitive cheerleaders, dancers and anyone who is looking to gain advancement in their tumbling. This class will include in depth back handspring drills, mastering timing, confidence & basic tumbling. Participants attending this class should be able to demonstrate a handstand, bridge, and bridge kick-over (bridge kick-over from slightly elevated surface is acceptable).
