Our Youth Basketball League (YBL) features basketball fundamentals, team play, sportsmanship, and skill development. Participants will practice together and be placed on a team. Team shirt included in registration. This program runs on Saturdays in the Winter.

The Ocean Community YMCA gymnastics program embraces the Y’s Mission by creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to become strong, confident gymnasts who are honest, responsible, respectful, and caring friends and teammates. Classes offered include boys and girls ages 18 months to 18 years progressing from infant exploration to competitive training- led by trained instructors who have a passion for teaching and know how to have fun along the way!

The Competition team is for the gymnasts who have mastered their Basic Skills and are ready to train at a higher level. They will learn the skills and routines required according to the rules set up by USA Gymnastics. They will compete at local and out-of-state competitions. Gymnasts will practice anywhere from three to eight hours a week. Pricing varies based on the gymnasts’ level. Our head Gymnastics Coach, Donna Gillis, brings over a decade of coaching and youth gymnastics instruction

This class is designed to introduce the importance of functional fitness using body weight and light weight exercises. Participants will learn a variety of training techniques while building a bond with the other participants. Your child will learn the proper form in a way that is developmentally appropriate to accomplish their goals of flexibility, endurance, stability and sports performance.
