The Ocean Community YMCA has secured funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to provide swim lessons at no cost for underserved children 17 and younger in the New London County region. The Y will partner with Stonington, Norwich, and New London School Districts to identify students who will benefit from water safety. The funds are administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the lessons are taught by certified lifeguards at the Naik Family & Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA Branches.

To apply, please fill out the applications below and bring them to the Naik Family Branch or Westerly-Pawcatuck Branch by March 27th!
